Assam TET Exam 2014 – Apply Online for Shiksha Mitras & Addl Shiksha Mitra Posts: Department of Elementary Education, Government of Assam has released notification to conduct Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for Siksha Mitras and Additional Siksha Mitras (Lower Primary, Paper-I). Candidates who have served as Siksha Mitra (SM) or Additional Siksha Mitra (ASM) in any of the 5015 erstwhile EGS centres at the time of upgradation to LP school can apply online from 01-09-2014 to 10-09-2014. Name of the Examination: Assam State Teachers Eligibility Test for Siksha Mitras and Additional Siksha Mitra (Lower Primary, Paper I)

Qualification of Education: All interested and eligible Candidate must have minimum academic and professional qualification as follows:

i) Have to complete Senior/ Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known);

Or

ii) Having Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least aggregate of 45% marks with minimum 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002;

Or

iii) Have to finish Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least Aggregate f 50 % marks with minimum 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed);

Or

iv) Have to clear Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least aggregate of 50 % marks with 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

Or

v)Have to qualify Graduation from any UGC recognized University and having 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (irrespective of marks obtained in graduation). With regard to candidates having graduation degree, and havo\ing the minimum percentage of marks specified above at + 2 stage Senior secondary /higher Secondary will not be required.

Eligibility criteria: All interested and eligible candidate must have worked as Siksha Mitra or Additional Siksha Mitra in any of the 5015 erstwhile EGS centres at the time of upgradation to Lowe Primary school. No other applicants will not be considered as eligible candidate for this examination.

Price of Examination Fee: All interested and eligible candidates need to pay the examination fee of Rs.500/- at nearest branch of State Bank of India, through the printout of examination fee preforma available in official and authorized website. After receiving the payment, the respective Bank will give “Transaction Id” as confirmation of payment and examination fee deposited format will be accepted at respective SSA District Mission Office.

How to Apply: All interested and eligible candidates are required to apply through online from the official and authorized website www.tetassam.com and www.ssaassam.gov.in available from Sept 01st 2014 to Sept 10th 2014.
